Fuses

Notes on changing a fuse
The fuses in your vehicle serve to discon-
nect faulty circuits. If a fuse blows, all the
components downstream of the fuse and
their functions will fail.
i
Blown fuses must be replaced with a fuse of
the same value (identifiable by the colour and
amperage) with the amperage recommended in
the fuse allocation chart. Any Mercedes-Benz
Service Centre will be happy to advise you.
G
Risk of fire
Only use fuses that have been approved by
Mercedes–Benz and which have the amper-
age specified for the system concerned. Do
not attempt to repair or bridge faulty fuses.
Otherwise, it could overload and start a fire.
Have the cause traced and eliminated at a
qualified specialist workshop, e.g. a
Mercedes-Benz Service Centre.
If a fuse blows again, have the cause
