Towing eye

is located under the load compart-
ment floor.
Fitting and removing the towing eye
Press the mark on cover

remove.
Screw in the towing eye at least 7 turns to the

right as far as it will go, then tighten it. The
thread may be dirty or similar if the towing eye
cannot be screwed in as described. Towing
cannot be performed.
Vehicles with a trailer hitch: vehicles with a trailer
hitch do not have a rear bracket for the towing
eye. Fasten the tow bar to the trailer hitch.
After removing the towing eye, engage the

When a towing eye or trailer hitch is used to
recover a vehicle, the vehicle may be damaged
in the process.
