Risk of accident
The movement of the pedals should not be
restricted in any way. Always keep the driv-
er's footwell free from objects. Make sure
that floormats or carpets do not obstruct
the pedals.
Always apply the handbrake when the vehi-
cle is parked.
Do not shift down for additional engine brak-
ing on a slippery road surface. The drive
wheels could lose their grip and the vehicle
could skid.

Current selector lever position 1 can be
seen in the display in the instrument clus-
ter.
In selector lever position D, you can influ-
ence shifts made by the automatic trans-
mission by:
restricting the shift range
shifting manually
