Locking and closing in an emergency

Releasing the parking lock manually
In the event of a malfunction, you can re-
lease the selector lever lock from position
P manually, e.g. to tow the vehicle.

1 Marking
Press marking 1 to the stop and hold
it.
Move the selector lever from
position P.

The selector lever will be locked again if it is
moved to position P again.
