Refuelling procedure

Risk of explosion
Fuel is highly flammable. Fire, naked flames
and smoking are therefore prohibited when
handling fuel.
Switch off the engine and auxiliary heating*
before refuelling.

Risk of injury
Avoid direct contact with fuel.
If fuel comes into direct contact with your
skin or you inhale fuel vapours, it will dam-
age your health.

Risk of fire
Do not use petrol to refuel vehicles with a
diesel engine. Do not mix diesel fuel with
petrol. This would result in damage to the
fuel system and engine and could set the ve-
hicle on fire.

Never use petrol in vehicles with diesel en-
gines. Do not mix diesel fuel with petrol. Even
small amounts of the incorrect fuel will result in
damage to the fuel injection system. Damage re-
sulting from adding the incorrect fuel is not cov-
ered Pay attention by the warranty.
The fuel filler flap is located on the rear
right-hand side.

3 Fuel filler cap
4 Lock cap
Remove the key from the ignition lock.
Press on the rear of fuel filler flap 1.
The fuel filler flap folds out.
Turn lock cap 4 to the side.
Open fuel filler cap 3 with key 2. To
do this, turn the key anti-clockwise in
fuel filler cap 3.
