Air filter
Dirt, water and other residue from the air
filter are ejected through two valves.
If the valves become blocked, then dirt,
water and other residue will accumulate in
the valves' drain hoses. The air filter valves
must then be cleaned.

It is particularly important to clean the air fil-
ter valves after driving off-road. If they are not
cleaned correctly, water, dirt and other residue
could get into the air filter housing and cause en-
gine damage.
Cleaning the air filter
The air filter valves are on the right-hand
side in the front wheel arch.
Turn the steering wheel fully to the
right.

1 Dust valve
Press dust valve 1 together.
Dirt, water and other residues are
drained off.
Clean dust valve 1 with water as nec-
essary.

Press water valve 2 together.

Clean water valve 2 with water as
