Windscreen washer system
The washer fluid reservoir is in the engine
compartment at the front on the left-hand
side when viewed in the direction of travel.
It holds around 7 litres.

Add windscreen washer concentrate to
the washer fluid all year round.

Risk of fire
Windscreen washer concentrate is highly
flammable. For this reason, avoid smoking,
fire and naked flames when handling wind-
screen washer concentrate.
Use:
A windscreen washer fluid additive,
such as MB Summerwash, at tempera-
tures above freezing point to prevent
smearing
A windscreen washer fluid additive with
antifreeze properties, e.g. MB Winter-
wash, when there is a risk of frost so
that the washer fluid does not freeze on
the windscreen
Mix the washer fluid in a container.
Vary the mixture ratio according to the
outside temperature.

Engine compartment
To open: pull cap 1 upwards by the
tab.
To close: press cap 1 onto the filler
neck until it clicks fully into place.
Battery
Your vehicle is supplied with three batter-
ies:
Two starter batteries in the engine
compartment
One battery for electrical consumers
beneath the fuse box in the centre con-
sole
