raised and locked into place.
Only fold down the impact protection bar to
change a bulb, for example.

The impact protection bar folds downwards.
Take care to allow sufficient clearance.

Hold the impact protection bar firmly when
unlocking. It could otherwise fold down suddenly.
Undo quick-release fasteners 2 on
both sides using key 1 from the glove
compartment.
Slowly guide the impact protection bar
downwards.
Raising the impact protection bar
Fold the impact protection bar upwards
to stop joint 4 and hold it firmly.
Make sure that the pins of quick-
release fasteners 2 are inserted into
the recesses in lock 3.
Lock quick-release fasteners 2 on
both sides using key 1.

Make sure that the pins of quick-release fas-
teners 2 are securely seated in the recesses in
lock 3.
