The hour meter (Figure
hour meter starts to function whenever the key switch is on.
1. Park machine on a level surface, lower cutting units, stop engine, engage
parking brake and remove key from the key switch.
2. Locate the wire harness connector at the rear of the hour meter. Unplug the
harness connector from the hour meter.

3. Connect the positive (+) terminal of a 12 VDC source to the positive (+)
terminal of the hour meter.
4. Connect the negative (-) terminal of the voltage source to the other terminal
of the hour meter.
