Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Die Schlauchleitung 1 683 351 066 ist vorgesehen für die Prü-
fung von Common Rail Injektoren (CRI) Typ 2.18 und Typ 2.20
am EPS 200 ,EPS 708 und am EPS 815

Nur in Verbindung mit Prüfsatz CRI 846H oder CRI/CRIN 848H

Gerätebeschreibung
Mit Schlauchleitung 1 683 351 066 (Pos. 4) wird die
Schlauchleitung für Rücklaufmenge vom Prüfsatz (z. B.
CRI 846H) am CRI verbunden.

Bedienung

Hinweise in der Betriebsanleitung vom Prüfsatz CRI 846H
oder CRI/CRIN 848H sind zu beachten.

Vor dem Entfernen der Schlauchleitung aus dem CRI, die
Verriegelung über die Rändelmutter lösen. Bei Nichtbe-
achtung können sich Teile vom O-Ring ablösen und im CRI
verbleiben und später in das Kraftstoffsystem des Fahrzeu-
ges gelangen.

Sobald Haltekraft des O-Rings nachlässt oder der O-Ring
Beschädigungen aufweist, ist dieser zu ersetzen.
1. Rändelmutter (Pos. 3) lösen bis O-Ring (Pos. 2) entspannt ist.
2. Schlauchleitung (Pos. 4) in den Rücklaufanschluss vom
CRI bis auf Anschlag schieben.
3. Schlauchleitung festhalten und Rändelmutter von Hand
festziehen.
4. Schlauchleitung auf festen Sitz prüfen.
5. Schlauchleitung für Rücklaufmenge mit der Schnellver-
schlusskupplung (Pos. 5) verbinden.

Intended use
Exhaust gas sampling hose 1 683 351 066 is intended for the
inspection of Common Rail injectors (CRI), type 2.18 and
type 2.20 on the EPS 200, EPS 708
Only in conjunction with CRI 846H or CRI/CRIN 848H test set

Description of device
With hose 1 683 351 066 (Pos. 4) the hose line for return
quantity from test set (e.g. CRI 846H) is connected to the CRI.

Operation

The instructions in the operating manual for test set
CRI 846H or CRI/CRIN 848H must be followed.

Slacken off the knurled nut before removing the hose from
the CRI. Failure to do so could result in parts of the O-ring
coming off, remaining in the CRI and subsequently ingressing
into the fuel system of the vehicle.

The O-ring is to be replaced if damaged or as soon as its
retaining force diminishes.
1. Slacken off the knurled nut (Pos. 3) until the O-ring
(Pos. 2) is no longer tensioned.
2. Insert the hose (Pos. 4) as far as it will go in the CRI re-
turn connection.
3. Hold the hose in position and tighten the knurled nut by hand.
4. Check that the hose is firmly attached.
5. Connect hose line for return quantity to the quick-release
coupling (Pos. 5).
