Menu Code 27 - How to View a Dispenser's Electronic Cali-
bration
The 3000 Series retail dispenser can come with one of two types of meters. The Bennett
SB-100 or the FPP High Flow Electronic Meter. The Bennett SB-100 meter comes with
either the mechanical adjuster which means Electronic Calibration is not used and is
calibrated the traditional way, or without the adjuster which means the meter must be
calibrated electronically through a sealed switch. The FPP meter is calibrated electroni-
cally. Electronic Calibration is standard with the SB-100 meter and the FPP meter. The
sb-100 meter can be purchased with the optional mechanical calibration feature.
Menu Code 27, without the calibration switch activated, can only view the calibration
constants of the meter. If calibration must be done on the meter see the Electronic Cali-
bration Section of this manual.
To view calibration settings in Menu Code 27, follow this procedure:
1.
After the Manager's Mode has been accessed, press the number 2 and 7, then the
MODE button on the keypad. See Figure 1. An example of what you might see is
shown in Figure 2. This shows the current value of the electronic calibration that
was either set at the factory when the meter was originally calibrated, or shows the
current field calibration value. The current calibration value could also be 0.00 as
shown in Figure 3.
If the dispenser is not equipped with the electronic calibration feature the display
will have a value 0.00 for calibration (this will never change). See Figure 3. If the
dispenser is equipped with electronic calibration the factory will do an initial cali-
bration of the meter. The initial calibration value will be displayed. Before start-
up each meter must be re-calibrated at the site.
2. Press the CANCEL button to exit this menu code.
