Audio Decoding

Go to Settings > Camera > Audio > Audio Decoding, and configure audio decoding.
Click "Save" to validate settings.

5.5 PTZ

The camera is equipped with digital PTZ, which is suitable for wide range surveillance and enlarges
the field of view. User can control PTZ via web client. In the PTZ control part of the Live View
interface, user can control PTZ manually, as introduced in chapter 3.1.1.
Note: The PTZ holder will stop rotation when reaching its pan limits. Please strictly follow the
Quick Start Guide during installation so that the functions of preset loading and path
patrol will not be affected.
Sampling Rate: It means the sampling times to sound signals by the audio-recording
device in 1 second. The higher the sampling rate is, the more real and natural the
sound reproduction will be.
Encoding Volume: Drag the slide bar to adjust audio encoding volume, i.e. audio
input volume. The larger the value is, the higher the voice will be.
Encoding Format: Select audio encoding format from the dropdown list, by default
G.711 a (PCMA).
Echo Cancellation: Select the checkbox to cancel noises in the input audio and to
improve the audio quality.
Note: When the encoding format is AACLC, you can configure the sampling rate;
under other encoding formats, the sampling rate is certain.
Decoding Volume: i.e. audio output volume, drag the slide bar to adjust audio
decoding volume.
Audio Mixing Recording: Select the checkbox to enable audio mixing recording
function, which is valid only when "ADPCM" is selected.
Note: When "Audio Mixing Recording" is disabled, there will be only heard sound
without calling sound during video recording; when it is enabled, there will be
both heard and calling sound during video recording.
