SMTP

SMTP means Simple Message Transfer Protocol. When an alarm is triggered, the system
will send email notification automatically through SMTP protocol. Configuration steps are
as follows:
1)
Go to Settings > Network > Other Protocols > SNMP;
Select "SNMP Version" to enable SNMP;
Enter "Read community" and "Write community" names;
Configure "Trap Address" and "Trap Port" (default being 162). The camera can send
exception alarm to the management base;
Configure "Trap Group Name";
Enter "Camera ID", "Read-only User Name", "Authentication Method",
"Authentication Password", "Encryption Mode" and "Encryption Password";
Enter "Read/Write User Name", "Authentication Method", "Authentication Password",
"Encryption Mode" and "Encryption Password";
Click "Save" to validate settings.
Go to Settings > Network > Other Protocols > SMTP;
