6. Install two alignment pins and place the clutch cover
gasket into position. Install the inner clutch cover.

7. Tighten the clutch cover cap screws (A), (B), and (C)
to 8 ft-lb (10.9 N-m).

8. Install the air intake plate. Apply red Loctite #271 to
the threads of the three Phillips-head cap screws;
then install and tighten securely.

9. Place the driven pulley assembly into position and
secure with the nut (threads coated with red Loctite
#271). Tighten to 85 ft-lb (115.6 N-m).

10. Slide the fixed drive face assembly onto the front
shaft.
11. Spread the faces of the driven pulley by threading a
V-belt cover cap screw into the fixed driven face and
tightening until the faces open sufficiently to allow
the V-belt to drop into the pulley approximately 3/4
in.
