Clutch Power Supply Test Procedure:

1. Measure the DC voltage at the pink wire where it
comes out of the rectifi er. Make sure the engine is
running at full throttle and note the reading. If below
12 VDC, troubleshoot the engine's electrical system
(Fig. 1405).
2. Under the control panel, remove 4 screws and
lower the bottom panel. Unplug harness from delay
module (Fig. 1406).

3. Connect the test lead to the end of the pink wire in
the terminal plug removed from the module (Fig.
1407).
Note: The voltage should be the same as at the
engine.

4. Move the tester lead to the orange wire in the same
terminal plug. Pull the clutch switch out and hold.
The voltage should be the same as at the pink wire
(Fig. 1408).
