17. Remove the pump adapter bracket (Fig. 0306).

18. Remove the nut and adjusting screw from the pump
adapter bracket (Fig. 0307).

Control Linkage Installation

1. Thread the adjusting screw into the pump adapter
bracket so the threads of the screws protrude 3/4"
(19mm) past the bracket (Fig. 0308).

2. Loosely install the jam nut onto the adjusting screw
(Fig. 0309).
