Symptom:

PASSENGER WINDOW HALL EFFECT FAILURE

When Monitored and Set Condition:
PASSENGER WINDOW HALL EFFECT FAILURE
When Monitored: Whenever the passenger window is operating.
Set Condition: The hall effect sensor in the window motor sends an alternating signal
(open/closed) to the BCM whenever the motor is running. When there is no hall effect
signal to the BCM from the window motor, this code will set.
DTC PRESENT
HALL EFFECT SWITCH OPEN
PASSENGER WINDOW HALL SIGNAL WIRE OPEN
PASSENGER WINDOW MOTOR OPEN
WINDOW HALL EFFECT GROUND OPEN
PASSENGER WINDOW UP RELAY GROUND CIRCUIT OPEN
PASSENGER WINDOW DOWN RELAY OUTPUT WIRE OPEN
PASSENGER WINDOW DOWN RELAY GROUND CIRCUIT OPEN
PASSENGER WINDOW UP RELAY OUTPUT WIRE OPEN
PASSENGER WINDOW DOWN RELAY OPEN
PASSENGER WINDOW UP RELAY OPEN
BODY CONTROL MODULE - PASSENGER WINDOW HALL EFFECT OPEN

NOTE: If there are any other Passenger Power Window DTC's present,
diagnose those DTC's before proceeding with this code.
Turn the ignition on.
With the DRBIII , erase DTCs.
Cycle the ignition switch from Off to Run.
Operate the Passenger Window Motor.
With the DRBIII , read DTCs.
Does the DRBIII display PASSENGER WINDOW HALL EFFECT FAILURE?
Yes → Go To 2
→ The condition that caused the code to set is not present at this

POSSIBLE CAUSES
ACTION
time. Using the wiring diagram/schematic as a guide, inspect the
wiring and connectors.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
