spring. If the contours of the Pedilin construction
are not correct, the plastic material could be
pulled below the carbon fiber spring during
vacuum forming.

Prepare model for vacuum forming. Use the
Polyethylene Adhesive Tape (627B4) to attach
the carbon fiber spring to the model above the
ring/span and below the calf. Pull 1 Perlon
stockinette over the model.
INFORMATION
Isolate with 519L5 Silicone Spray. This makes

it easier to remove the Perlon stockinette from
the cooled polypropylene.
Please use 4 mm for all sizes in order to vacuum
form 616T20=2000×4 Polypropylene. The plas-
tic must be shaped on the model under vacuum.

Mark the edges and remove the model. Next
separate the calf part from the foot part.
NOTICE
Damage due to wrong cutting. Ensure that
when cutting open the model the lining is sepa-
rated in the middle only.
