Fault-Cause-Remedy

The Fabius plus divides alarm messages into three
categories based on priority. Exclamation marks
indicate the priority. The alarm messages are dis-
played on colored background if the option "Color
display" is enabled:

Internal priority numbers, see page 109, for the
ranking within an alarm category are written below
in brackets, e.g. (23 / 31).

1) APNEA FLOW alarm priorities are based on alarm duration and ventilation mode:
In Volume Control, Pressure Control, SIMV/PS with Freq ≥6, or Pressure Support with Apnea Ventilation OFF:
Caution = V
<20 mL for >15 seconds
T
Warning = V
<20 mL for >30 seconds
T
In ManSpont, SIMV/PS with Freq <6, or Pressure Support with Apnea Ventilation ON:
Caution = V
<20 mL for >30 seconds
T
Warning = V
<20 mL for >60 seconds

2) APNEA PRESSURE alarm priorities are based on alarm duration and ventilation mode:
