The following oxygen monitoring functions are dis-
abled if the Fabius plus is configured by
DrägerService to run using the O
abled option.
– "Oxygen Monitoring Window" on page 112
– "Setting Oxygen Monitoring Alarm Limits" on

– "Calibrating the Oxygen Sensor" on page 113
– Fabius plus-generated inspiratory O
sensor alarms.
NOTE
If internal FiO monitoring is deactivated, external

FiO monitoring must be available (according to
2
ISO 21647).
NOTE
The message »No Integrated O
displayed in the oxygen monitor window when O
monitoring is disabled.
O Low Supply Alarm

If the O pipeline supply pressure drops below the
2
minimum pressure permitted (approximately 20 psi
or 1.4 kPa x 100) an additional »O2 SUPPLY
LOW« alarm is generated and the LED (1) starts
blinking.
If the alarm occurs in Standby mode and the user
changes to a ventilation mode, an continuous alarm
tone sounds for seven seconds.
