Installing Vaporizers

Install vaporizers as directed in the appropriate
Instructions for Use supplied with the vaporizers
available for use with the Fabius plus.
The anesthetic vaporizer used with the anesthesia
workstation shall comply with ISO 8835-4.
The anesthesia workstation must be used with
anes-thetic gas monitoring complying with
ISO 21647, if an anesthetic vaporizer is used.
WARNING
Risk of spillage or mix-up
Use only suitable adapters for filling and emp-
tying the vaporizer.

Additional Equipment

CAUTION
Risk of tip-over and personal injury
If monitors and other equipment are placed on top
of the device, the risk of tipping over the unit is
increased, especially when rolling over thresholds
etc.
Remove all monitors and other equipment from
the top of the device before moving the unit.
CAUTION
Risk of tip-over and personal injury
Do not place more than 40 pounds (18 kilograms)
on top of the Fabius plus monitor housing.
Prepare additional equipment as specified in the
specific Instructions for Use.
