Connecting the CP modules

S In order to connect the CP modules to a string, use the
special CP cable from Festo (type KVI-CP-1-...).
S Note that the complete length of the cable on a string
must not exceed 10 m.
You can thereby avoid:
–
faults in data exchange between the node and the con-
nected CP modules.
Information on the procedure can be found in the manual
"CP System, installation and commissioning".
