2. Commissioning

Addressing (see Fig. 2/17)
Mark the icon of the valve terminal to be configured in the
HW Config ( 5 in Fig. 2/15).
The configuration data with the columns "Module/DP ID",
"Order Number", "I address", "O address", "Comment" ap-
pear in the table in the lower half of the monitor screen.
Modifying the address
The input addresses and output addresses are assigned
automatically by STEP7. Proceed as follows, if you wish to
modify this address assignment:
1. Open the mask "Properties – DP slave" ( 2 in Fig. 2/17)
by double clicking the appropriate line in the configur-
ation table of the DP slave.
2. Modify the starting address of the inputs/outputs.
Please note
With S7-400 controllers with CPU with integrated DP
master, up to 4 bytes of addresses will be reserved per
DP ID depending on the version status.
Station selection and configuration are then completed.
