Software "PROFIBUS Configuration Help Tool"
The software "PROFIBUS Configuration Help Tool" is on the
CD ROM to facilitate configuration. This sofware enables a
graphic assessment of the PROFIBUS configuration.
Preparations
1. Copy the GSD of the valve terminals into the directory
\STEP7\S7DATA\GSD of your PC or programmer. You will
find the device master file on the accompanying CD ROM
or in Internet under www.profibus.com in the
"GSD Library".

The GSD can either be:

copied manually into the above-mentioned directory
(e.g. with Windows Explorer) or
S
loaded via menu item "Extras" – "Install new GSD" in
the mask "HW Config".
Please note
Update the hardware catalogue when you copy the GSD
while working with STEP7. Menu in HW Config:
"Extras" – "Update catalog"
Please note
As from STEP7 V4.02, GSD files are saved within the STEP7
project (station GSD files). This can cause the updating/
loading of new GSD files to be carried out supposedly in-
correctly. Please inform yourself about handling the GSD
files in the STEP7 help.
