FREEZE
With this function all the inputs of the CP system can be
"frozen". The CP system then sends a constant input image of
all the inputs to the master. The following FREEZE command
causes the input image to be updated. The updated input
image is then sent constantly to the master. Return to normal
operation with the UNFREEZE command.
SYNC
With this function all the outputs of the CP system can be
"frozen". As a consequence, the CP system no longer reacts
to modifications of the output image in the master. The fol-
lowing SYNC command causes the output image of the
master to be updated. Return to normal operation with the
UNSYNC command.
Module consistency
The CP system supports the following variants of module
consistency:
– over the complete structure of the CP system
– via the selected format (word).
