Mixed kinematics
● Rotary axis C rotates around Y and Z (rotary axis vector = (0,1,1))
→ Set a fixed value for rotary axis C in axis direction Y or Z.
● Table rotates around Y
→ Set a fixed value for rotary axis B in axis direction Y.
The setting for which rotary axis which component is set, is performed via the setting data
$SCS_MEA_KIN_MODE and $SCS_MEA_KIN_VALUE.

= 0 All components of the linear vector are calculated
= 1 The component for X is taken from $SCS_MEA_KIN_VALUE[0].

= 4 The component for X is taken from the active transformation.

Note
The fixed value is always set on the basis of the orientation vectors of the rotary axes that are
entered in the kinematic chain or in the tool carrier.
Closing a chain
For a transformation on the basis of kinematic chains, the tool or part chain is closed via the
system variable $NT_CNTRL Bit7 and 8. For a tool carrier, you can use the setting data
$SCS_MEA_KIN_MODE to set whether the closing vector is not to be calculated.
