8.2.4 Overview of LEDs on 3RW5 HMI Standard
The display of the device LEDs of the 3RW5 HMI Standard shows the messages of the
following devices:
● 3RW51 soft starter
● 3RW5 communication module (if there is one)
Status LED

Flashes green

equipment manual for the 3RW5 communication module in question.
The display on the status LEDs of the 3RW5 HMI Standard indicates the state of the soft
starter and the operating state of the motor.

Ramp-up time or ramp-down time
active
Motor operating state
The ramp-up is over, the motor is
running, and the soft starter is in
bypass mode.
Motor is ramping up or ramping down.
