Installing EtherCAT Communications Cables

Ethernet communications cables and connectors are used to connect the built-in EtherCAT port with
EtherCAT slaves.
Use a straight, shielded twisted-pair cable (double shielding with aluminum tape and braiding) of
Ethernet category 5 (100BASE-TX) or higher.

ed, its communications and noise characteristics meet the standards. PUR cables for out-of-cabinet use
are also available.
