6.4.7 Adjust the length of the ProfiDAT
The ProfiDAT compact Rails have a standard length of 5 m. Shorter lengths are available, but are usually made on site.

Work steps:
 Determine the length of the ProfiDAT
 The cut direction (1) must be from the closed side of the rail.
 Saw the rails at right angles with the cross-cut saw.
 Drill and countersink with the step drill M3 90° for connectors using the drilling jig.
 Deburr all edges in Area A and Area B according to DIN ISO 13715 (Fig. 53).

damping of the system. In order for the damping to be as low as possible, the rails must be
precisely machined and connected at the connection points.
We therefore recommend that the installation only be carried out by Conductix-Wampfler
personnel.
