2.11 Conduct in the event of accidents and malfunctions

Actions to take in the event of accidents:

erroneous activation
 Secure the danger zone
Remove persons from the danger zone

Initiate first aid measures

 Alert the rescue services
Inform responsible parties at the operating site




Shut down the system and secure it against unauthorized, unintentional, and/or erroneous reactivation

Secure the work area against entry

Consult qualified personnel when analyzing the fault

Involve authorized personnel for maintenance and repair

 Check for disconnection from power
Remove the system and replace it with a new system

Determine the cause of fault and repair the system

 Conductix-Wampfler must be informed immediately if personal injury or material damage can occur during breakdowns.
