The actual speed value supplied by an incremental encoder can be used for various functions in
the VFD.

0 = speed meas. Servom, "Servo mode speed measurement": The actual motor speed value is
1 = PID actual frequency: The actual speed of a system is used for speed control. This function
2 = frequency addition: The calculated speed is added to the prevailing setpoint.
3 = frequency subtraction: The calculated speed is subtracted from the prevailing setpoint.
4 = maximum frequency: The maximum possible output frequency/speed is limited by the speed
