Features of your vehicle
covered with snow or ice, the glass
or the motor could be damaged.
• Make sure the sunroof is fully
closed when leaving your vehicle.
If the sunroof is opened, rain
or snow may leak through the
sunroof and wet the interior as
well as cause theft.
• Do not extend any luggage outside
the sunroof while driving.
• After washing the vehicle or
after a rain, be sure to wipe off
the water on the sunroof before
operating the sunroof.
• Do not pull or push the sunshade
by hand as such action may
damage the sunshade or cause it
to malfunction.
• Close the sunroof when driving in
dusty environments. Dust may
cause a malfunction of the vehicle
system.
WARNING
• In order to prevent accidental
operation of the sunroof,
especially by a child, do not let a
child operate the sunroof.
• Do not extend the face, neck,
arms or body outside the sunroof
while driving.
• To avoid serious injury or death,
do not extend your head, arms or
body outside the sunroof while
driving.
• When closing the sunroof, make
sure there are no body parts in

the movement range of the sliding
roof. Parts of the body could
become trapped or crushed.
• A panorama sunroof is made of
glass, therefore it may break in an
accident. If you do not have your
seat belt on, you may stick out of
the broken glass and get injured
or killed. For all passengers safety,
have an appropriate protection on
(ex. seat belt, CRS, etc.)
• Never adjust the sunroof or
sunshade while driving. This could
result in loss of control and an
accident that may cause death,
serious injury or property damage.
• Do not operate the sunroof while
using the roof rack to transport
cargo. This may cause the cargo
to come loose and distract the
driver.
• Do not sit on the top of the
panoramic sunroof. It may cause
vehicle damage.
