4 Replacement Procedures

Installing the Keyboard

To install the keyboard, follow the steps below and refer to figures 4-15 to 4-17.
1. Connect the keyboard cable to PJ2003 on the system board.
2. Align the latches on the front of the keyboard with the notches in the top cover.
3. Seat the keyboard and secure it with two M2.5×2.6 black flat-head screws.
4. Secure the keyboard and metal brace with one M2.5×4 black flat-head screw.
5. Seat the keyboard brace and press to secure latches.
