4 Replacement Procedures

Installing the TFT FL (Model 14.1 Samsung)

To install the TFT FL (model 14.1 Samsung), follow the steps below and refer to figures
4-76 to 4-84.
1. Install the FL (with the double adhesive tape) in the mold-frame.
2. Fit the GND wire (white) into the mold-frame.
3. Install the back-cover to the mold-frame.
4. Secure the back-cover with two screws.
5. Install the clip A and B to the module.
6. Lay the following six sheets.
• One reflector sheet
• One LGP
• One diffuser sheet
• Two prism sheets
• One protector sheet
CAUTION: When you remove the sheets, be careful not to damage them or let any dust or
other foreign matter contaminate them. Any contamination or damage can affect the
performance of the unit.
7. Install two clips onto the module.
8. Install the panel-assembly in the B/L assembly.
9. Secure one screw.
10. Secure five machine screws.
11. Seat the top chassis onto the module and secure it with four side hooks and four
bottom hooks.
12. Secure the top chassis with five screws.
13. Apply the wire tape.
14. Apply the aluminum tape.
15. Apply the PCB cover.
