CD-R/RW Drive

The CD-R/RW drive accommodates either 12 cm (4.72-inch) or 8 cm (3.15-inch) CDs. It is a
high-performance drive, and is attached in the slim select bay.
This drive reads CD-ROM or CD-R Media at a maximum 24-speed (3,600 KB per second).
Also CD-RW Media, the drive reads maximum 14-speed, and writes maximum 8-speed.
The CD-R/RW drive is shown in figure 1-8. Specifications for the CD-R/RW drive are
described in table 1-5.
