5-4 Book Support Plate Replacement

If the book support plate hits the machine and is bent, it
must be replaced. Replace the book support plate by
following the procedure listed below.
Enter a block thickness of 50 mm
(2") on the Book Block Size Screen.

Check that the other items for the
job have been entered.
Open the carriage clamp as far as
possible.
- Select the Binding Screen to do the
changeover.
Press the Emergency Stop button.
Remove the side cover.
- Remove the two monting screws shown in the
illustration below.

Remove the book support plate.
- Insert your hand between the carriage clamp
and the frame and remove the four mounting
screws shown in the illustration below. Use
the supplied screwdriver.

The book support plate is an option.
Please purchase and replace.
