6-2 Error Codes

If an error occurs, an error code will appear on the Error Screen. There are some problems only a service person
can handle. (These are inidicated by the gray shading in the table below.) If an Error code with [Service call] in the
column for "See page" comes up repeatedly, please call your local dealer and report the error code.
Cause

0001 Emergency Stop switch is pressed.
0002 Left safety cover is open.
0003 Right safety cover is open.
0004 Lower nipper door is open.
0501 Cover sheet left on the nipper.
0601 Cover sheet jam
1001 Emergency stop error
1101 Carriage clamp opening amount
home positioning error
1111 Carriage clamp home positioning
error
1112 Carriage clamp moving error
1113 Carriage clamp moving home posi-
tioning error
1121 Carriage clamp open position error
1122 Carriage clamp close position error
Remedy
Release the Emergency Stop
switch.
Close the cover.
Close the cover.
Close the door.
Remove the cover sheet and
check the last booklet.
Remove the cover sheet and
check the last booklet.
If this error code appears
repeatedly, check the covers
and the brake release button.
Check that there are no prob-
lems with the interlock relay.
Check that the stepper motor
moves, and that the home posi-
tioning sensor is active.
Check that the carriage clamp
moves smoothly. If this error
code appears repeatedly,
replace the inverter A20.
Check that the carriage clamp
moves smoothly. If this error
code appears repeatedly,
replace the inverter A20.
Check the carriage clamp home
position sensor B42.
Check that the breaker corre-
sponding to the error code is not
tripped. If the breaker trips
repeatedly, please call your local
dealer.
Check the level plate position
detect sensor B51. If this error
code appears repeatedly,
replace the inverter A50
Check that the breaker corre-
sponding to the error code is not
tripped. If the breaker trips
repeatedly, please call your local
dealer.
Check the level plate position
