Problems with Scoring
Condition
The cover sheet is cut by
the scoring operation.
The scoring line is not
produced.
The scoring line moves.
The scoring line is created
in the wrong place.
Problems with Stack
Condition
Bound books cannot be
stacked correctly.
Cause
The scoring roller pres-
sure is too strong.
The scoring roller pres-
sure is too weak.
The upper and lower scor-
ing rollers do not meet
each other.
The transport roller is
stained.
The positioning guide
width is too wide, or too
narrow.
The scoring position is not
set correctly.
Cause
Used sheets are too
large, or too small.

Remedy
Decrease the scoring roller
pressure.
Increase the scoring roller
pressure.
Align the upper and lower
scoring rollers properly.
Wipe the transport roller
using a dry cloth.
Adjust the positioning guide
width on the feed table.
Adjust the scoring position.
Remedy
Push the stopper to the end
and attach the accessory
delivery chute.
