5-9 Transport Belt Replacement

When the cover sheet position changes, replace the
transport belt. Perform this operation after tring all the
operation at the troubleshooting (Refer to page 87).
Open the safety cover(right).
Cut the transport belt using a scis-
sors.

Cut the tyton which fixes the spare
transport belt shown in the illustra-
tion below.

Move the spare transport belt to the
former position.
- Do not pull the belt strongly when moving it
over the upper cover guide.

- Replace two transport belts together.
