SAFETY
STOP ENGINE BEFORE CARRYING OUT MAINTENANCE
q Stop the machine on a solid and flat surface
q Turn the ignition switch to OFF, wait approximately one
minute, then turn battery main switch to OFF and remove
it.
q Select a place where there is no hazard of landslides,
falling rocks, or flooding.
q Lower the work equipment and blade completely to the
ground.
q When leaving the machine, set lock lever (1) to the LOCK
position (L), then stop the engine.
q Engage the safety lock of the boom swing control.
q Put blocks under the track to prevent the machine from
moving.
q If maintenance is necessary with the engine running, see "MAINTENANCE WITH ENGINE RUNNING (2-52)".
