FUNCTIONING
Warming the hydraulic system
q When warming up the hydraulic system, check that no
persons or obstacles are in the surrounding area, blow
the horn and begin to work.
q Warming up the hydraulic fluid is necessary also for
the circuit between the pump and the cylinders,
between the pump and the engine and also for the
control circuits. Do not carry out the operation only for
one cylinder or engine or in one direction only.
Carry out the operation in all directions, for all the
working tools (boom, arm, bucket), for rotation, travel
and optional equipment.
q Always warm up the hydraulic system until the relevant
warning light displays the correct temperature.
(When the hydraulic fluid temperature is low, the
warning light shown to the right is displayed.
(A) Correct temperature: blue bottom of warning light (C)
(B) Low temperature: white bottom of warning light (C)
1. Check that the temperature warning light of the engine
coolant (1) indicates the correct temperature.
(A) Correct temperature: blue bottom of warning light (C)
(B) Low temperature: white bottom of warning light (C)
If the displayed temperature is low, further warm up the
engine until the corresponding warning light (1) shows the
correct temperature.

2. To perform the hydraulic system warming operations
faster, select the P working mode (heavy-duty).
