4. Loosen the fastening screws of all components on all
sub-bases approx. 2 turns. You will then avoid stressing
the CPA valve terminal when the tie rods are loosened
(see diagram).

5. Replacing a sub-base or a manifold block:
Remove the component on the sub-base to be replaced
(see this chapter, "Replacing a sub-base, blanking plate
or additional supply plate").
