11.6 JOGGER POSITION ADJUSTMENT
NOTE: It is required to carry out the jogger position adjustment for each
paper size if the size of paper used is slightly different from the
standard size.
1. Move the jogger fences [A] at the A4 position.
2. Loosen the screws [B] for the jogger fences, align the jogger fence edges
[C] at the A4 position, and re- tighten the screws.
3. Make sure that the jogger fences are at the correct position by sliding the
fences.
4. Select a duplex mode and feed a copy paper to the duplex unit.
5. Access the SP mode and select the duplex jogger span adjustment
(
SP Adjustment page 10).

6. Check the jogger fence position in the duplex unit and measure the gap
between the fence and paper edge.
7. If the gap is small and fences are pressing the paper, make the jogger
fence position wider by SP mode.
8. If the gap is wide and skew occurs in duplex mode, make the jogger
fence position narrower by SP mode.
Adjustment Standard: +0.5 ~ +1.5
