18. MOVING ORIGINAL SCAN AND BY-PASS
FEED TABLE
18.1 MOVING ORIGINAL SCAN MODE
Moving original scan mode enables the machine to make copies of an
original which is bigger than the exposure glass. In this mode, the scanner
position is fixed at the center of the exposure glass (at this time, the
sheet-through H. P. sensor is actuated), and the original is transported to be
scanned.
While scanning, the original is transported by the inverter roller and the
transport belt. The inverter motor and belt drive motor speed depends on the
selected magnification ratio. The original path is as shown in the above
illustrations.
