Replacing the battery

Attention
• Only use batteries approved by Hako at the intended position!
• The battery should only be replaced by qualified service
personnel!
• Wear safety shoes when changing the battery.
• Only change the battery using suitable lifting gear and crane gear
with a sufficient load-bearing capacity.
• Lifting hooks may not cause damage to cells, connectors or
connecting cables!
• When using other batteries which have been approved by Hako,
the BMS must be reset to protect the battery against total
discharge. The settings of the BMS must only be carried out by a
workshop authorised by Hako!

Removing the battery
1. Place the machine on a level surface and turn it off.
2. Undo the side panelling of the machine with the provided spanner and
remove.
3. Open the seat console all the way.
4. Disconnect the battery plug.
5. Hook crane gear into the eyelets of the battery trough Fig. 27-B.
The crane gear must carry out a vertical pull so that the battery trough is not
distorted.
