Pinch the ends of the finger sensor to open the sensor to its widest point.

The monitoring system should stabilize on the subject's physiological signal in about 15 to 30 seconds.

Connect the DEC-4 pulse oximetry cable to the monitoring system's sensor port.

Connect the OxiMax™ DS-100A sensor to the DEC-4 cable, then to a finger.

Press and hold the Power On/Off button for approximately 1 second to turn the monitoring system on.
