REMOVAL
WARNING:
Support the motorcycle securely so there is
no danger of it falling over.
1. Remove:
-Cotter pin
2. Loosen:
-Nut (Front wheel axle)
CD
-Locknuts
@
-Adjuster
®
3. Elevate the front wheel by placing the suita-
ble stand under the engine.
4. Remove:
- Brake cable
-Clip (Speedometer cable)
-Speedometer cable
@
-Nut (Front wheel axle)
- Front wheel axle
- Front wheel assembly
®
-Collar
- Brake shoe plate
@
INSPECTION
1. Inspect:
-Axle shaft
Roll the axle shaft on a flat surface.
Bends~ Replace.
WARNING:
Do not attempt to straighten a bent axle
shaft.
2. Inspect:
-Wheel
Cracks/
Bends/Warpage~
Replace.
