CYLINDER AND PISTON
1. Inspect:
-Cylinder and piston walls
Vertical scratches--+ Rebore or replace
cylinder and piston.

2. Measure:
- Piston-to-cylinder clearance
Piston-to-cylinder clearance measurement

First steps

- Measure the cylinder bore IIC" with a cylinder
bore gauge.
CD
40 mm (1.57 in) from the cylinder top
NOTE: _
Measure the cylinder bore IIC" in parallel to and
at right angles to the crankshaft.
Then, find the average of the measurements.
