DISASSEMBLY
4. Remove:
-Woodruff key
CD
- Starter wheel gear

- Plain washer

CAM CHAIN AND CAM CHAIN GUIDE
(INTAKE)
NOTE: _
With the engine mounted, the cam chain and cam
chain guide can be maintained by removing the
following parts.
- Camshaft sprocket
-Cylinder head
-COl magneto
1. Remove:
-Cam chain guide (Intake)
CD
- Cam chain
(2)
CRANKCASE (LEFT)
1. Remove:
- Neutral switch lead
CD
-Screws (Crankcase)
-Clamps
(2)
NOTE: _
Working in a crisscross pattern, loosen all screws
1/4 turn each. Remove them after all are
loosened.
NOTE: _
When removing the crankcase (Left), pay atten-
tion to the crankcase oil seal lip. A recommend-
ed practice is to fit the liD-ring"

in the drive
axle groove and apply grease over the fitted area
before removing drive axle.
