3. Install:
- Throttle valve

-Jet needle assembly

NOTE: _
Make installation with the projection of plate

in the throttle valve hole.
4. Install:
-Throttle valve assembly
CD
NOTE: _
Align the groove
~
of the throttle valve with the
projection
@
of the carburetor body.
5. Adjust:
• Float height
®
Out of specification ~ Adjust.
By the following steps.
Float height measurement and adjustment
steps:
• Hold the carburetor in an upside down po-
sition.
- Measure the distance between the mating sur-
face of the float chamber and top of the float
using a gauge.
NOTE: _
The float arm should be resting on the needle
valve, but not compressing the needle valve.
Float Height
@:
26-28 mm (1.02-1.10 in)
-If the float height is not within specification,
inspect the valve seat and needle valve.
-If either is worn, replace them both.
-If both are fine, adjust the float height by
bending the float tang

on the float.
- Recheck the float height.
